Child Behind Bars – National Geographic Cover Photo?

For a long time I have been trying to find a copy of a National Geographic cover shot that I found in a high school art class (2002). It is of an Asian child behind a cage. You can just see the eyes and the top of the head, and the child’s arms are crossed over the head, holding onto the cage.

Don’t know much about the “Child Behind Bars – National Geographic Cover Photo”

But do know some about the child soldiers of Tamil tigers.Tamil tigers used innocent children of poor Tamil families forcibly for war fare against the Sri Lankan government until they were fully defeated by the government forces.

Most of the child soldiers were saved by the SL army.
